So :iconloony-madness: is the winner, please contact me about what prize you want :)

From one of the judges a critic/feedback message:
1. loriandill.deviantart.com/art/…

This one caught my attention most, because the artist actually put something together - a composition - before he started drawing. It certainly wasn't the technique that impressed me (Lighting and perspective are off), but you can tell from the amount of detail that they tried very hard to make it look realistic. And it is, in my opinion, the picture with the best atmosphere and mood.

2. morrison3000.deviantart.com/ar…
This one has to be my second one, since the artist is unquestionably the most skilled one out of the contestants. If it displayed a little more than "just" a skull as it is, this would have been my favorite. The structure and shading are spot-on and they achieved a lot of depth considering the fact that only HB pencils were allowed.

3. baryonyx62.deviantart.com/art/…
Very analytic drawing that gets its depth from the background - the shading isn't very convincing. But drawing machinery with pencil is quite a challenge, and I think the artist did a great job with the overall shape of the tank.

4. warrior1944.deviantart.com/art…
I really like the foreshortening with the arms of this character. The gesture is dynamic, convincing and adds up to the atmosphere of the picture. The center of the picture is detailed and consistent. However, the legs start to look a little rushed to me - And the background looks very impatiently drawn. It's actually a pity you are not further up on my list - because I can tell from your gallery and the detailed part of the picture that you are talented. You just rushed a little too much with the background, in my humble opinion...

5. duplesnowflake.deviantart.com/…
The best play of light and shadow - the composition is in harmony, we have a clear light source that sets an appropriate contrast. But it does lack the detail and time that the contestants above put in their picture, so I would place this piece as 5th.

6.sammywammy123.deviantart.com/a…
A little off composition, yet I'm intruiged what the artist is trying to convey here. It sure looks original, however the sizes of the thumb, total hand, and eye just don't go together. Now I am not sure whether this is just drifting towards surrealism or whether we have a lack of basic anatomy knowledge, but when I look at the complete work, I can't exactly say that I find it appealing. I wasn't sure where to place this, so I'm sorry this ended up as 6th in case I missed something with this one.

7. thesearchingwillow.deviantart.…
A nice picture, but it just can't keep up with the other awesome entries. It has little originality, barely any depth and looks a little plain. I reckon the artist is a beginner, so I hope they just keep it up; there is potential! It just didn't work out at this stage, sadly.

Cheers to all the contestants who put so much effort in this!

Then to some things I wanna ask:
1: Does anyone here use/used the site: Redbubble? It is a site you can register and upload your art to and even sell it by having the art printed onto T-shirts and stuff people can buy, in my opinion my art is too bad for such things but if you maybe get help or advices from there it is maybe a good idea to join it? So if you have used it: Mind telling how that site is like and how it works like and your opinion about it? :)

2: Will for the first time in 8 years start to study subjects I like again, we´ll see when I start to study and what exactly but I have taken the decision to start again and do it by distance learning, if all goes well I will even be able to take courses from UK :) I will also start reading more on my free time but there is one thing I cant do myself: Improve talking English! So I´m looking after someone here who wouldnt mind having a chatt by skype or such maybe once a week or even less just for fun? :) Would help me a lot in improving my ability to talk more normal in English and think faster in it and improve my pronouncing of words.

3: Im getting good at drawing monsters and demons and such but when I compare my airplane drawings to others mine looks horrible in my opinion, so how can I improve on that and become better at it? I could show examples if needed. Will also start to draw new things I havent done before, maybe it is just as easy as this: The more I draw the better I will get? What do you think?

I would like to thank my best friend for everything you have done for me and its been an honour knowing you and I can say I´m lucky with having a such amazing friend who spoilt me and helped in hard times and all great memories we have had together, thanks for skyping the last time, you really cheer up my life and is a motivation and you are amazing at drawing! :)
Also would say thank you to my few friends out there, I have been feeling down lately and busy so sorry for not being talkative, but since I have few close friends: I am really thankful for the few ones I have and if I can help with anything let me know!

Sorry for taking long time to present the winner in the contest: Took longer time than expected and been busy and feeling low recently but now its better :)
